Cats Don’t Always Land on their Feet … and Neither Will You

I think I am the owner of the least graceful cat on the entire planet. Seriously, I mean that, he is a clumsy oaf sometimes. I was sitting out on the front porch while the dogs laid in the sunny spots on the lawn and our cat Maurice fell asleep on the deck railing, and then promptly proceeded to fall and crash loudly onto the deck.
He landed with a thud so loud he scared my neighbor who was weeding out her flower bed, she jumped up and looked around thinking something horrible was wrong. No, sorry, just my clumsy cat. We both laughed out loud at poor Maurice, who proudly got right back up on his perch of the deck railing and went back to sleep.
What’s my ridiculous point here and why I am comparing my clumsy cat to your online business venture? The point is that cats do not always land on their feet, yet they have this stunning reputation of being graceful and elegant and always landing on their feet. Why is that?
In my opinion it’s because cats are proud, they hold their head their head high no matter what. They get right back up, dust themselves off, and go right back to what they were doing having learned from their fall and doing a better job to keep their balance when they get back on the railing, or the window sill, or the shelf, or whatever the challenge may be that is in front of them.
In all honesty it’s how a cat presents themselves. They don’t put up with ridiculous things, they don’t worry about what those around them think, they do what they set out to do even if it takes them ten tries to accomplish their goal.
There’s a lot to be learned from a cat that you can apply to your business goals or even your personal goals. As long as you proud of what you’ve done hold your head high and carry on. If something needs tweaking, then tweak it. There’s no harm in fixing things or changing things as you go along.
Have a great day,
