So, I already gave you a brief overview of the NAMS Workshop event I attended in Atlanta. Now, I’d like to introduce you to all the fantastic people I met while I was there. I want to start with Lynn Terry, because if it weren’t for Lynn and her Elite Mastermind group I never would have been at the event.

I first heard about the event from Lynn’s SSWT Forum. I was interested at first, but not enough to really look at it closely. I’ve always sort of passed over live events because of the high price tag they usually carry. The first thing that I realized was different about NAMS was that it wasn’t a pitch-fest all about making the presenters money. It was actually an affordable thing to go to!

I’ve followed Lynn for quite awhile now. Since way back in the early years of my being online and wanting to build a business. I joined the Elite members last fall when I realized I needed to make more passive income so that my business could run even when I was busy doing other things, like taking care of my husband who had become seriously ill.

I was looking for things, and there was Lynn’s SSWT and Clicknewz! coming up over and over again right in front of my eyes. The internet was telling me something. Lynn is good at what she does! Ever have one of those ah-ha moments where the light bulb goes off in your head and you say, “Duh! I knew that!” Well, that was me the day I joined the Elite forum. I knew that I needed it, I just didn’t know that I knew.

I’ll save you my emotional rambling on about it again. I’m sure you’ve heard it from hundreds of times. Joining the Elite member’s group is the best thing I’ve done for me in a long time.

I’ve long attended Lynn’s free Tuesday webinars for everyone, and we’ve got Thursday brainstorming hour with the Elite member’s group. Lynn gives, and gives, and gives to her community whether you’re free member or a paid member, there is something there for you! Here’s a special get together Lynn hosted for the Elite SSWT Members over the weekend at the NAMS event. We had a great time actually getting to chat in person instead of over the webinar!

If you’ve ever been to Lynn’s blog Clicknewz! you probably have an idea about her style, and her heartfelt honesty. She tells it like it is and if something doesn’t work, she doesn’t promote it to you.

When you meet Lynn Terry in person, she is exactly as you expect her to be. Smiling, happy, and joy to be around. She might even make you cry during a presentation, because you can feel the emotion in her voice when she tells her story.

I don’t think it’s possible to be in a room or at a table with Lynn and not smile. She makes sure everyone is having a good time and she wants you to feel comfortable. I thought I’d be nervous as all heck sitting down to meet her … after all, I’m just a little newbie and this is Lynn Terry! But, that didn’t happen. Sitting down with Lynn is like sitting down with your neighbor that you’ve known for 20 years and having lunch. It’s comfortable, it’s honest, it’s real.

I was so happy to be able to stay a little later on Monday and have lunch with Lynn and some of the other folks that had late flights out or that were driving home. It was a wonderful weekend. and I’m so glad that I was there to learn these things and to meet new friends.
