Magic Myke ~ Great People I Met at NAMS 2 Workshop in Atlanta

Hello again! Today I want you to meet Magic Myke. I was going to go through all the great instructors first, but this kid has a special place in the lineup of cool people I met at the NAMS Workshop. That’s right, I said kid…. because he’s only 16 years old.
You can find Michael at Sharp Pixel Designs, and he does beautiful work. One of the most requested things at NAMS would be a “Magic Myke to take home in your pocket!” because he went above and beyond helping organizer David Perdew get things up and running, solving internet connection problems, and just in general helping people out all weekend long!
Every time I saw Michael he was working on something. I even saw him working from his phone a few times, because the hotel’s internet connection just wasn’t fast enough for him. He was one of the handful of aides that helped with the event, and did more than his share of assisting. I don’t think there’s anything he can’t fix at this point, because I saw him do so many awesome things while we were at NAMS!
Michael is one of the most mature 16 year olds in the world. I had to keep reminding myself in the back of my mind that he’s only 16, because when you’re talking to him you really don’t realize it! If you haven’t met Mike yet, check out his portfolio and then strike up a conversation with him on Twitter! He’s a great person to talk to, definitely not your average kid.

Loretta, You are exactly right about Myke! He is working on a couple headers for me and he has gone above and beyond. He checks and double checks what I like and don’t like. He has been great!
