Focus, focus, focus. A few years ago I would have never been able to do that. Heck, even a year ago I wouldn’t have been able to do that. That’s one of the things I’ve learned to do since joining the SSWT Mastermind Group. If I get out of focus and go off on a random path following shiny objects, I’ve got a support group full of people to kick me in the shins and point me back in the right direction!

I got a little out of focus today. It was one of those days where I woke up and just about everything seemed to be broken and needed fixing urgently. It happens. Or as Nicole Dean would say, “poop happens.” It definitely does.

But, today I knew that I had a set list of things that needed to get done. And guess what? They got done and I’m well into checking off things for tomorrow’s to do list too! Because I stayed focused, and didn’t go off on a path that would lead to my complete frustration and disappointment.

I fixed what needed fixing, I asked for help when I needed help, and everything got done. It may have taken a little longer than I expected it to take, but it was done nonetheless. Yay for getting things done!

Now, I am making my new to do list for tomorrow and the long weekend ahead. I’m feeling focused and productive. I did get a little behind on the series of posts here about Great People I Met at NAMS, but I will definitely be continuing on with that, because there are so many great people I want to tell you about and the things that I learned from them.
