Look what happened on my Tweet stream yesterday morning!

Too funny, right? Now, I have to say that, so far, I have not at all been bothered by Sponsored Tweets. I kind of thought I would be. I thought I really would not like the service (and I’m a strong supporter of IZEA, too – so that felt a bit strange to me. But the reality has been that the tweets have been at times interesting, and when they’re not anything that pertains to me, I just skip over them. I can do that, because, I’m not being bombarded with them all. day. long. So if a tweet comes in every now and again that just doesn’t interest me – no big deal.

I’ve been so surprised by the service and my reactions to it, that I actually signed up myself. I haven’t received any offers, though, so I can’t tell you how it is from that side of it.

I just really thought this was funny, that five tweets – just about simultaneously – came through my stream yesterday morning. I guess that advertiser, or whomever ‘pulls the trigger’ on the tweets, needs to be careful about letting them loose. I was even intrigued by that particular ad, as I have a friend up the street who is a travel agent and I’m always jealous of her constant traveling. So yes – my eyeballs went ‘Oooh!’ at the first tweet ….but, then when they kept coming – I just had to laugh!

And yes, I know, I need to go back to Arrow Drawing School. Very funny.
