Online classified ads are a great way to boost your website traffic. They provide incoming links, are searched and listed on the search engines, and they’re accessed by thousands of potential customers – thus increasing your reach. #1 – Craigslist.org

Craigslist offers a number of benefits. First and foremost, it’s free. All you have to do is sign up for an account by visiting craigslist.org. It’s presently the largest classified ad site. Craigslist.org boasts more than 20 billion page views per month, ranks #7 worldwide in terms of English-language page views and is used by more than 50 million people in the United States alone.

Craigslist users self-publish about 50 million new classified ads each month and the website is still growing. Recently it has expanded to more than 700 craigslist sites in 70 countries. In short, craigslist is huge.

The only downside to craigslist is that they do not allow linking to a site with affiliate links. You can of course get around this by linking to an article, blog or page without affiliate links but which does link to your website.

#2 – USFreeAds.com

USFreeAds.com is one of the largest classified ad sites in the US. It offers three basic membership levels. Free gives you two ads each month, Gold gives you 25 ads a month and Premium offers unlimited advertisements. There are other differences between the memberships as well, including images, automatic renewals and so on. Gold membership is $10 a year and Premium membership comes at a price of $9.99 a month.

They happily accept classified ads that link to sites with affiliate advertisements. However, they do have the following restrictions – no classifieds of an adult nature, ads for prescription drugs or pharmacy websites, or ads for credit cards or credit card websites.

#3 – WorldFreeAds.com

WorldFreeAds.com is just what it says; it offers free advertising and you can place any number of ads up to 100. They also offer advertisement upgrades. You can choose a featured ad, and bold lettering to help draw attention to your advertisement.

You can also check their stats at any point in time and they’re verified by Alexa. They offer free listings, PPC listings, website submission, power listings, text link ad listings, prime ad listings and at the top of the price point are the main mall listings.

Online classified ads are a great way to boost your business. Before registering at any classified site, take some time to investigate their terms and conditions. You want to make sure you’re going to be able to accomplish your goals. Also, check out their traffic, fees and general customer satisfaction. Once you find a good site, hang onto it. Classified ads may be your key to doubling or even tripling your website traffic.
