I’ve been noticing a lot more Facebook related job opportunities on the web recently. What’s interesting about this is there’s a surprisingly wide range of opportunity for getting involved in Facebook, it’s not just marketing.

Of course, there are the social media management positions available for creating and maintaining fan pages, promoting contests, etc… but there’s also the technical side of things where a lot people and companies are looking for applications to be created and in some cases improving existing applications.

Even game design comes into play. You know all those crazy addicting games you play with your Facebook friends? (some of which are ridiculously annoying LOL) The creators and maintenance folks of those games seem to be making some decent money freelancing their services.

So, if you’ve got the marketing know how to make a fan page soar into thousands of followers or if you’re a coder looking for some extra income it’s worth looking into this little freelance job niche.
