What about intentional malice? Hackers, viruses, identity theft — eek!
Well, Nicole Dean, is an online business owner like you – and she was worried enough about these issues to write a report to address them.
In it, she covers the following:
The do’s and dont’s of creating and using passwords - so hackers can never guess or copy them and the no-sweat way to manage all your passwords, never worry about forgetting, losing or having your passwords stolen.
Why your business needs an emergency manual in case you get sick for an extended period, or worse. And, what to include in your emergency manual.
Why an external hard drive backup is not enough. And, what to use in addition to your external drive backup.
What files you should back up – so you know you’ve got all your bases covered.

Don’t put this aside for later. I, personally, have had to start business projects over three times from computer crashes and from malicious hosting attacks in the past (one happened very recently) and don’t want to see you go through the same thing.
To Your Business Success,

P.S. I’m a fan of Mozy for remote backups, it’s hands free and I don’t have to worry anymore!

Loretta,
This happened to me the other day. Or almost happened. It was a glass of water which I almost knocked onto my laptop. Crisis averted but point taken. Thanks for sharing, checking out the link now.

Point and reminder taken. My family has taken to using my laptop when I’m not around
It would be bad enough if I spilled on it, but what if they did? How many days would I have to runaway so I wouldn’t hurt anyone? lol UGH, let’s save everyone and just work on correct backups
