transcription crash course coverI recently launched Transcription Crash Course, my first product online to help people get started in the transcription business. I did this for a few reasons, the biggest reason being that I wanted to answer the questions I receive so often about my transcription business. What do I use, how did I get started, etc… All of that and more is packed into the 17 page report on how to get started offering your own transcription service.

I’m happy to say that so far the report has been receiving great feedback from all around the web! Here are just a few reviews and interviews that have come up so far… (and there’s more to come in the very near future)

Mark Mason of MasonWorld.com was one of the first to review the course – http://www.masonworld.com/make-money-online/transcription-crash-course-review/ – Mark is actually one of my transcription clients and I was thrilled when I saw he had purchased a copy of the report to review for his readership.

Erica Cosminsky of TheSmallBusinessTranscriptionist.com also did a wonderful review and shared some insight into the use of foot pedals as a fellow transcriptionist. http://thesmallbusinesstranscriptionist.com/transcription-crash-course I really appreciate this extra tidbit, because I don’t use a foot pedal and therefore was not able to make a recommendation in that area.

Rick Wilson at eBizRantzandRavez.com was also an early reviewer of the product and shared the information with his blog readers at http://www.ebizrantzandravez.com/467/transcription-crash-course-starting-a-general-transcription-business/ touching on various points in the course.

I was pleasantly surprised when a quick review and announcement popped up at WahmTalkRadio.com - http://www.wahmtalkradio.com/learn-how-to-start-a-general-transcription-business/ – Impromptu and unexpected posts are always the best surprise when I check my email and see those little Google Alerts telling me where to go on the web.

I’ve been doing a few quick interviews, and of course those aren’t as much of a surprise when they pop up since I already know about them in advance, but they’re still fun to read and reply to the comments on.

It’s no surprise that Val Selby was the first to take me up on an interview opportunity to share with her WorkingWahm.com readers. You can see the full interview at http://workingwahm.com/transcription-crash-course/ where we talk about work time involved and different types of clients.

Shannon Weidemann at MarketingElf.com was next on the interview circuit and you will find our conversation at http://marketingelf.com/work-at-home/transcription-crash-course-review/ where we discuss the personality types that are best suited for transcription, how to find clients, and how I got started.

That’s all for today, but there are more interviews and reviews to come online. In fact, if you have an audience that would be interested in a review or an interview of Transcription Crash Course I invite you to send me your questions. Just leave a comment here or email me and I’ll be in touch soon.

To Your Success,
Loretta
