So on this week’s to do list is a lot of work with BANS, or Build a Niche Stores. I’m sure by now you’ve seen these around the internet and a lot of people are picking up the software and opening their own ebay affiliate stores. What’s great about BANS is that you need 0 products. It’s all right there for you. The only thing you need to worry about it adding content to the site and tweaking keywords. That’s it!

Just to show how easy BANS is to use… I let my 11 year old help me set up my most recent shop. He’ll make a good VA some day!

Here’s two shops that we have set up that are all about Wii products. Of course my helper did more window shopping than helping at one point. These aren’t 100% finished yet, but they have a template, a custom header, a few articles and some specialty store pages added to them. It’s a good beginning to the site and we will add to that little by little.

Best Wii Downloads is using a two column template with the sidebar on the right.

Wii Party Accessories is using a three column template so that there is a sidebar on each side.

These shops have had very little work and promotion put into them and they’ve already picked a PageRank of 3 and have gotten a few handfuls of search traffic. Not bad for just getting things set up. And it was easy. I was explaining the steps to my son and he understood exactly what I was doing and where things needed to go. So to all those folks out there that are worried that it’s to technical for them or too hard, put your mind at ease. It truly is as easy to set up as they say it is.
